Abstract

Jember Fashion Carnival (JFC) is the largest festival in the world and third largest festival in Indonesia in traditional clothing fashion Festival since 2003 were pioneered by Dyanad Vicki. JFC became the arena for promoting the culture of the region from many different tribes. JFC very plays an active role in preserving the culture of the native Indonesia. JFC is a means to improve the economy of the region. With the holding of the festival, the original Income Expected Area (PAD) Jember is increasing as we get tourists both local and foreign tourists are increasingly interested in following or watching this annual festival. The research method used is descriptive research with documentation as a technique of pengnumpulan data from some of the relevant official site. Next, the data is analyzed using techniques of data analysis in the form of descriptive statistical analysis in the form of the calculation of the contribution of the tourism sector toward Jember town of PAD from the year 2011 till 2015 years.
